Tourist Spot of Kuthibari Kushtia:

Shilaidaha Kuthibari, Kushtia:

The main Tourist attraction of Kushtia is Shilaidaha Kuthibari. This beautiful red sprawling building surrounded by a large expanse of trees, plants and flowers, is located about 20 km from Kushtia Town. It upholds the memory of the Nobel Laureate Poet Rabindranath Tagore who made frequent visits to this place and stayed here in connection with the administration of his "Zamidari". The peace and tranquillity of this place enthralled him into penning some of his best verses thus contributing further to the enrichment of Bengali Literature.

Shahjadpur Kuthibari:

About 75 km. from Pabna town, it is also a historical place connected with the frequent visit of poet Rabindranat Tagore.

Mujibnagar Memorial:

Located at a distance of about 7 km. from the town of Meherpur. First provisional revolutionary Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh was declared here on the 14th April during the liberation war in 1971. A Monument has been built to commemorate this historical occasion.

Gandhi Asram:

Situated about 23 km. north-west of Choumuhani town and 2 km. east of Chatkhil at Jayag in Noakhali District. This asram was established in the Mahatma Gandhi to Noakhali and is devoted to his ideology. In 1946-47 Mahatma Gandhi, the protagonist of Ahimsa or the Non-Violence movement visited this region with a view to preaching peace. The Historical "Charka" or the spinning wheel and other valuables used by the Mahatma are preserved in this asram and evoke a deep respect to the memory of this great soul.
